File a supplier invoice as soon as you receive it
A receipt left in a car or an invoice lost at the back of a drawer is an expense missing from your accounts, and perhaps deductible VAT lost too. The simplest approach is to photograph it the moment you receive it. Scanning is only available on the m2m.ma mobile app: it is not offered on a computer.
To install it, open my.m2m.ma in your phone's browser and add the app. There is no store to open and no separate download. It then launches like any other app.
Three steps to record an expense
Lay the invoice flat somewhere well lit, then take the photo with all four corners visible and no shadow. A sharp image gives the best reading. If you received the invoice by email, you can also use the PDF.
The platform then suggests the supplier, its ICE, the date and the amounts. Check these values, correct them if needed and choose a category that makes sense to you, such as rent or telephone. The expense is saved as a draft, with the photo or PDF attached.
- Supplier, ICE, date and amounts filled in for you
- Photo or PDF kept with the expense
- Ready-made categories: purchases, staff, CNSS, telephone, rent
- Works from your phone, out in the field or at the office
You stay in control of what is recorded
The document is read on your phone. Nothing is sent until you have confirmed. Reading quality depends on the photo, and a suggested value may be wrong: that is why checking remains a step in its own right, and why no expense enters your accounts without your review.
An expense placed in the wrong category can be corrected while it is still a draft. You can then filter your expenses by category to see where your money goes, and your accountant finds the attachment next to each amount, without having to ask you for it by email. For an expense you have no photo of, you can still enter it manually from Expenses.
