Selling online is more than a website
An online shop is only the visible part of a complete chain. Behind each order, you need to collect payment, prepare the parcel, hand it to the delivery company, update the stock and issue an invoice. If these steps stay manual, the work grows with every sale and mistakes soon follow. That is why we think about the shop and everything around it from the start, and not only as a shop window.
Two possible foundations: WooCommerce and Drupal Commerce
We can build your shop with WooCommerce, which runs on WordPress, or with Drupal Commerce, which runs on Drupal. The first often suits a simple catalogue that is easy to manage day to day. The second can be interesting when your sales rules or content are more particular. We discuss this with you based on your catalogue and how you want to manage your products. The choice is made case by case.
Payment and delivery suited to Morocco
In Morocco, your customers may want to pay by card, by bank transfer or on delivery. The options actually available depend on your bank, your payment provider and your business: we check them with you before integrating them. For delivery, we can connect the shop to your delivery company when it offers an API, or set up a simple file exchange with it.
Order tracking is part of the project: who prepares, who ships, and what the customer sees at each stage.
Stock and invoices without double entry
When the shop and your management tools do not talk to each other, you risk selling a product that has run out. We can sync stock between the two, in particular with a custom stock management solution.
For invoicing, the my.m2m.ma platform can create an invoice for each paid order. The connectors for WordPress and Drupal are presented on the Integrations page. These invoices are then used to prepare your accounting and VAT, with your accountant.
- Each paid order creates its invoice only once
- Stock is updated after the sale
- Your accountant finds the documents in one place
Preparing your project well
Before contacting us, prepare the list of your products, a few photos, your delivery methods and your terms of sale. These elements help us understand your business and prepare a quote suited to your project. Remember that your customers' data is personal data: law 09-08 and the CNDP should be taken into account for your shop.
