Give each person the access they need
Not everyone needs to see everything. Your accountant must be able to work on your entries, a business partner may only want to view the figures, and some files concern only the owner. In m2m.ma, each person is given a role, and this role determines what they can do in your business.
- Owner: the business, its settings, its team and its documents
- Accountant: data entry, statements and shared documents
- View-only: see and download, without changing anything
Invite someone
Open Team in the More menu. Only a owner can see this page. Enter the person's email address, choose their role and create the invitation. It remains valid for seven days and works only for the address entered. If the person already has an account, your business is simply added to their list.
For an accountant, two types of access are possible: working directly in your data, or only viewing and downloading. In both cases, they only see in Documents the files you share with them.
Change or remove access
A changed role applies straight away. A person who is removed loses their access, and any invitation still open is cancelled. Remember to do this when a colleague leaves the business or when you change accounting firm. A business always keeps at least one owner, so that it is never left with nobody to run it.
How many people, depending on your plan
The number of people depends on your plan. Users and guests are counted separately: the Small business plan includes one user and one guest, Pro three users and three guests, Company ten users and ten guests. A guest is an accountant or a view-only person. During the 15-day trial, these limits do not apply.
For accountants looking after several clients
The same account can be invited by several businesses, with a different role in each. A single view lets the accountant find all their businesses, and from there they can run the check that spots duplicate and missing invoices, depending on the rights granted. Each business's data stays separate. If you are unsure about the right level of access, start with the most restricted: you can widen it at any time.
