Business data that stays separate
Your invoices, customers and statements say a lot about your business. On m2m.ma, each business is created with its own database. One business's information therefore does not mix with another's, even when an accountant looks after several clients from the same account.
Access is by invitation. A person sees only the businesses that have invited them, with the role you have given them. You can change this role or remove this access at any time, and it takes effect immediately.
Protect your account
Passwords are never stored in plain text: they are irreversibly encrypted. You can add two-factor authentication, which asks for a code as well as your password. You receive an alert at each new login, and you can sign out your other devices if one has been lost or lent.
- A separate database for each business
- Irreversibly encrypted passwords
- Optional two-factor authentication
- Alert at each new login
- Automatic daily backups
A record of what changes
Every change and every export is written to a log. A validated invoice can no longer be changed, and an accounting correction is made through a reversing entry rather than a deletion. If a question comes up later, the history helps you understand what happened.
API keys follow the same logic: only their fingerprint is stored, and a key can be revoked without affecting the others. As for the invoices you scan, they are read on your phone and nothing is sent before you confirm. We never ask for your online banking login details, since your statements arrive by file import.
Your data remains yours
You can retrieve your data at any time in a zip file: invoices, attachments, tables and statements. If you leave the platform or your accountant needs a full copy, you don't have to ask anyone.
Security also depends on a few good habits on your side: choosing a password you use nowhere else, turning on two-factor authentication, giving each person only the access they need, and removing access for anyone who leaves the business.
